Parque Acuatico Mijas
Fuengiroal (on the Bypass)
One of the best water fun-parks around, located on the outskirts of Fuengirola. Wave pool, kamikaze slide, water chutes, Adventure River with winding raft slides and a mini aqua park for kids. The park also has a full entertainment programme including shows for children, water aerobics (displays and free classes), regional dances and beach volleyball competitions.
Open 10.30 – 1730 (until May 31), 10.00 – 1800 (June).

Tivoli World

The Costa del Sol’s biggest amusement park, located in Arroyo de la Miel, just 2kms from Benalmadena Costa. There are over two dozen thrilling rides to chose from as well as a tiny tots section, restaurants, bars and a professional calibre programme of concerts mainly by Spanish performers, as well as some ‘look alike’ stars. Tivoli is also the site for the recently opened cable car ride which links the coast with the beautiful Calamorro mountain range where there are several well-marked walking trails, as well as a cafeteria and souvenir shop.

Horse Racing

Hipodromo Costa del Sol has regular meetings on Sunday lunchtimes 11.15 – 15.00 in the winter and night races on Saturdays in the summer (23.30 – 02.30). There are bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and of course betting shops, if you fancy a flutter.
Hot Air Ballooning

For truly spectacular views there is only one place to be – up in a hot air balloon. Trips are organised from the white village of Ronda, About one hour inland from here.
